Is Juniper in Washington? and I wonder if that temp range for optimum pollination is the same for all varieties of tomatoes, I kind of doubt it.
It's hard to argue with the source you quoted Ponder but I've had very early red tomatoes when I seriously doubt that the night time temps were above 55 degrees when they were flowering or fruiting.
Maybe it's different with hybrids.
