The wild ones around the house are just turning red. The salmon berries an thimble berries are ripe now.
Yeah that's what I thought. I just cleared a bunch of blackberries that were taking over my photenia bushes and I still have the cuts to show for it
We used to go up to the Applegate in August I believe and walk in the river picking the berries. You can get a lot of berries fast that way and the ones near the water are fat and juicy.
