We're about to start prepping the garden area for the winter crop. Since I'm late I'll use starts again if I can find them. (I hope Green Leaf is open) Last year was our first ever winter garden. The Bok Choy did by far the best. The purple was the tastiest so I'll go with more of that than the green. Broccoli did well, Cauliflower and Cabbage not so much, but I will try them again. Lettuce and Spinach will go in pots in the greenhouse up off the ground. Last year we lost 90% to our turtle and the wild leaf eating invisible bugs. I sure hope the turtle will hibernate early this year. I think I'll skip the beets, onions and carrots that were total failures.....
We thought it was cool to see the garden dusted with snow. I can't find a good photo but this shows a little snow.
