Policy makers in the GOP not liking the policy of the majority are using activist court systems to change policy they are unhappy with while at the same time offering no policy? With respect to HC?

I'm wondering if I'm naive.
I still have some faith that in the end the courts will get it right.
I can only hope so.

My own personal feeling is that the mandate is the only thing that will work. I've seen so many charts and counter charts over the past year or so about the total cost of this that my head swims. The one thing I remember most is that when the numbers show the cost of care at emergency room's, never paid by those getting care, the mandate seems like a reasonable option.

Yet, only constitutional scholars can really determine the law here. Should it truly violate the language of our constitution, I'd give it up in a minute.

Not ease, this citizenship stuff, huh?

to answer your question, it will end at the US Supreme Court.
There is another thread on this on the forum about this. Interestingly, this court has 3 judges. The chief judge is a conservative GW Bush appointee. Another is a Reagan appointee. So, even with a 2-1 edge, they ruled in favor of the Health Care bill.
There are two more federal court challenges pending and then on to the US Supreme Court no doubt.

Thanks Anti,
I admit I have not been following this closely, and I didn't know it has a couple more challenges.
The SCOTUS ruling will be BIG!
Wonder just what specific principles of the constitution will be argued? I'd love to see this on live TV.
