I already don't think that platform has an OSHA approved railing, either, not that I think you could ever get me up there at this age.

Don't want to hijack this...REALLY! So after this Ponder and I can either PM or if anyone else wants to talk about it we might start a new topic. REALLY don't want to kill this "cool pictures" topic.

You are so right Ponder. That platform is an accident waiting to happen. As a retired working guy, I saw OSHA as a good thing.

Now back to Cool Pictures.

Hi jack shi smaxk.... it's ok for a sec. It looks safe to me fellas. That platform looks to me to be specificity designed for a reason, like to haul material up over the front edge. Both of those guys are tied off with a basic OSHA approved full body harness.

Quote:Cletus.... That close up is amazing. Did you use a combination of macro and zoom or just zoom? I tried to take some photos last year of some frogs on banana tree leaves with my old camera, but they leap when I get close. I wont super glue them either because that is cheating.WinkBig Grin

Hey Cleter, I bet your camera is like mine and if it's set to automatic you can take those closeups with out having to set it on close up.

That wiener dog in a bun is a littel disturbing . The pup looks like it is afraid of being eaten. Now it has me thinking of what a pot full of Chiauhah pups would look like. Mix in some onions and carrots.

And they whirl and they twirl and they tango
Singin' and jinglin' a jangle
Float like the heavens above
Looks like Gopher snake love

One year I had a den of these overwinter on my property. It was the grossest thing I ever saw, every warm day they would slither up in the bushes and sun themselves, at least a dozen of them of various sizes. Aren't these more correctly called Bull Snakes? It was a big one of these that cleaned out my pet chipmunks, too.

Those snakes are Gopher Snakes. They love to eat rodents; especially Gophers. If you got a caged chipmunk outside, they'll figure a way to get it. They usually don't go after tree dwelling rodents.

I wish I had a camera with me. I spent the better part of an afternoon watching one try to climb up a piece of galvanized pipe to get at a bird house. It made it up about three feet, before it would slide back down.
Really cool to watch, kinda like watching my grass grow. A great way to waste an afternoon.

I like bats a lot more than I like snakes. How about some spiders or scorpions or something.

Now TVg see's that as plain old fashioned porn. He don't think you outta be able able to post stuff like that.
(If it weighs less than a pound, he would call it an appetizer.)
I hope you have security lights. If there is any chance we can find out where you live you are in danger of night-time invasion of the pantry.
