Kind of seems like old guys to be getting in a knife fight. http://www.oregonlive.com/pacific-northw...fight.html

"A 60-year-old Grants Pass man was stabbed to death Monday night after a street fight in the area of Trooper Way and Yorktown.

Police responded to the scene to find Gary Michael Salomon lying on the side of the street. Salomon was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police arrested the suspect, Kiley Christopher Hudson, 41, of Grants Pass, at the scene. He was charged with murder and assault and booked into Josephine County Jail.

Another victim of the assault, Clifford Junior Eggleston, 51, of Grants Pass, suffered a bite on the wrist and abrasions on the knees..."

Here's another story on this. It apparently started with kids bouncing a ball off this guys house: http://kdrv.com/news/local/217849

"Words turn to violence in Grants Pass as a man stabs his neighbor to death during an argument.

That suspect is now behind bars charged with murder.

Neighbors say it was a trivial argument, and no one needed to die, but they said things became heated between 41-year-old Kiley Hudson and 60-year-old Gary Solamon Monday night, and ended with Hudson stabbing and killing Solamon.

Neighbors say the argument was over kids bouncing a ball off Solamon's house on southeast Yorktown road. The argument spilled into the street, where Solamon was stabbed.

Neighbors say Hudson was in shock about what he had done, and stayed at the scene with other bystanders when police arrived and arrested him.

People in the neighborhood say they were in disbelief. They described Solamon as a nice man, who lived alone, and said Hudson was a friendly neighbor, and they don't know why this argument ended tragically.

Hudson was arraigned in Josephine County court this afternoon on the murder charge. Hudson did not enter a plea in court today, instead, he was assigned a public defender, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 20th."
