Ditto! Anything inside over 70 just won't do. I look forward to the cooler days.

No, but it doesn't do any good to open the windows when it's over 70 outside.
The AC is officially off now. It's remaining a comfy 65 in the house.

I love this season. It's the 3 months of grey skies, snow and rain, November, December and January that get me.

I'm thinking of a hot water jacket, off the back of my little wood cookstove in the garage. plumbed to a big coil of PEX, under four inches of sand, in a little greenhouse. And a tape of the waves.

It was 70 in my house yesterday evening and now with no heat being used it is the same at 5:30 am. Even though it's 48 in Central Point or 43 according to Ryan's weather site.

Still holding at a very comfortable 65 in my house.

A comfortable 65 is an illusion. We are not so long forced out of the rift by our stronger brothers, to have acclimated.

We shut all the windows in the house, including the one in my bedroom which I like to leave open at night. Fireplace is on and generating enough heat to take the chill off.
It is supposed to be in the 70s this weekend so I'll be wearing my sandals again, for sure. Maybe even my pedal pushers. Short sleeves, too. One more time. So glad we are taking the trailer to Tucson for six weeks this winter.

Uh oh...my heater was on last night. I was not home until 8:30 last night so I had asked my nieces to come to my house after school and play with the puppy so he wouldn't be alone all day. They must have turned on the heat because I woke up in the middle of the night with the heat going but I couldn't go turn it off because I was in the middle of dialysis. So it stayed on till I unhooked this morning.

Yes I broke weak man! I got wet feeties from pickin bell peppers and in a moment of weakness I turned on the heat. Then I turned it back off when I got warm. Then the wife turned it back on. That's it, it's on and staying on till next May.
