Such a heartwarming story, isn't it?
Freedom of speech, only when you say what you're supposed to. Sad

The least of your problems.
We all struggle at some point to find "our center", to make peace with those dark things that go bump in the night.
I'd suggest (humbly) a different reading list. You might want to consider:
"Emotional Intelligence", Daniel Goleman
"The Balance Within", Ester M. Sternberg, M.D.

There are untold numbers of negative stories out there. And some positive ones. "Blue Skies" might be your anthem rather than "Guilty".

But keep in mind that I bought IBM high and sold low. Wink

Then by all means disregard and carry on.

You next cry for help my seem a bit less urgent. It's my hope you never face that dark night again.

My vice principal busted two Doug Fir paddles over my ass, to send a message to my stepdad. A message that had to do with his behavior, and not mine. My ass was just the medium. So, when he got his ass killed in a waterskiing accident, I remembered him in song. Out at Lindy's my work got good reviews. But at school, I got it on the ass again. For disrespecting a public servant.

It was ugly and uncalled for...for sure.
Does he truly understand that he is saying: "Next time won't be quite so traumatic for us because you aren't reading what he thinks you should read?"
Maybe not...maybe it just sounds that way?
