Rogue Valley Forums Version 1.0

Hey All!

I thought you might get a kick out of the old posts from when we had the original iteration of the Rogue Valley Forums back in 2008.

I have disabled posting on the forums because the software is crashing like nuts when you try to view any of the threads while logged in. Soooo...if you remember your password and want to log in - go ahead, be forwarned though, there will be errors. This is due to the site being incompatible with today's technology.

It was run in MYBB (same software as this I believe) and I know you can use it with today's technology, but not everything I had in there was really compatible.

I ran the site but took it down partly because of lack of participation (tried to compete with MTF), and my crappy web host at the time was not working with me to resolve downtime.

Anyway, I have it on my web hosting server here:

Oh yeah - I am NOT trying to compete with this forum, I just dug up the backup and wanted to bring some nostalgia. Smiling

Oh, sadness! Look at all the old MTF folk who haven't stuck around. That's sad!
Just browsing the first page and every one of them is someone from MTF who hasn't continued! I miss them!SadCrying

I am stuck in there reading some of the old threads. Enlightening. A piece of history in some of the posts if you look hard enough.

Yeah? I don't have the heart to look. Post if you find something cool.

Wow! Does that bring up memories. I was actually dating someone then (well part of the time). *sigh*
Luckily he is back in my life now, just as a friend...but that's how we are best. Smiling
