Are you guys getting any of the snow?
I've been reading on Facebook about the coast getting snow... 8 inches in some places!
We're just now getting it.

Technically yes. There have been a few flakes, reality- no- nothing is sticking yet (the ground is really warm and wet), but the wind is howling and I know some districts north-ish of us are on delay.... but that doesn't always indicate snow around here since most of the busses run with chains or 4wd (at least one has a wind related ppower outage).

We hardly ever get snow here in California at sea level but it was pouring buckets of rain last night. Forecast is for rain all week.

OMG It is a picture of hell frozen over at 400 AM.
It's pretty though.

I know you city slickers live for this kind of stuff, we're getting a trace now (no I didn't go out in it, taken by opening up an upstairs window):

We had about 20 minute of a wet snow. It did not stick. I'm ready to stop talking about snow any day now. I have gardening on my mind.

Admit it, you've got chili peppers on your mind
.It's time to plant onions. I noticed they are selling sets already. The earlier you get them in the ground the better.
I usually plant Wall Walla's about the end of this month. OK I'm going to the garden thread.

No snow. I'm not sure it got colder than 50 in town here last night.

Last I saw Douglas County (among others I think, but not Jackson or Josephine) was on floodwatch through tomorrow.
