It looks like a supper light year so far around Crater Lake. What snow we got is melting quick with tempts in the 50's. I don't think it even dipped into the 40's last night.

Just dreary, cold and grey. I've decided that December in Southern Oregon is my least favorite month next to maybe...August.

December is my least favorite month and has always been. But it has nothing to do with the weather or short days. Actually the short days could be a blessing in disguise.

I don't think the short days bother me so much.

Well it's not as cold as it has been and it's not raining. But I'm already totally ready fro spring. Or even August. I'll take the excessive heat over this any day.

It's just the dreariness that gets to me. I like clouds and cloudy days, but winter is just bleh.

Actually I was thinking about going to a lake, build a fire do some bank fishing. Plus take the dogs. Or take a boat.

I also need to go somewhere in the forest to gather wood to toss in my truck. And as long as I'm there I might as well take a few guns and targets.

I just found out I can get a fishing and hunting license for 6  bucks or something because I'm 65.. 66 tomorrow and have lived in Oregon for 50 years.

If you take the boat, you might want to tie it to your waist.   Big Grin Laughing
