They say it was suicide.

Junior Seau, a 12-time NFL Pro Bowl linebacker, was found dead today in his home.
Police are currently investigating the shooting at the Oceanside, Calif., residence of the former New England Patriot and San Diego Charger's football star. According to multiple reports, Seau committed suicide, found by his girlfriend at his beachfront home with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Wow..... I'm suspecting it was too many concussions. That is why he shot himself in the chest so that they can check out his brain. An ex Chicago Bear committed suicide in the same manner within the past year or two also so they could check out his brain tissue.

I watched a story last month on Jim McMahon former QB of the Bears and he's not doing all that great mentally either. He's got SEVERE short term memory problems.

Rough sport.

He was a real plus for San Diego. He gave back to the community. This is sad.

Shotgun to the chest, that a little difficult unless it had a short barrel.

The ultimate selfish thing to do...His poor mama and children.. That is if it really was suicide. They determined that conclusion pretty fast.

Difficult? not really, I just tried it because I have a shotgun sitting beside me with a regular barrel. It's easy for me and Junior Seau has a lot longer arms than I do. Or just pull the trigger with your toe.

Funny thing , I have seen two gruesome hits at Cal Games that made me think the game of footballs days are numbered. Funny thing both those hits were made by Beavers players and the first one got the player an escort out of the stadium by the cops.he second was on Jahvid Best an honest but unlucky hit.
